Usually I do not post on blogs, but I would like to say that this article really forced me to do so! Thanks, really nice article.http://www.louisvuittonbagmall.com/

  • Great Info! But I’m having some trouble trying to load your blog. I have read it many times before and never gotten something like this, but now when I try to load something it just takes a little while (5-10 minutes ) and then just stops. I hope i don’t have spyware or something. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

This reminds me of a question I had for you — when having my next suit made, should I go for 4 buttons on the cuff, or 5? I’ve had suits made with both in the past, and I’m on the fence for my next one.

I always keep the first button undone (I know some don’t like that, but I do, and am not planning to change).

Seeing 4 buttons on a cuff is what your eye expects, and something looks “wrong” when you only see 3 (because one is undone). This is what has drawn me to 5-button cuffs in the past — when one button is undone, you see 4 visible buttons, which just “looks right” to me some days.

Other days though I find myself more drawn to the 3 buttons showing on a 4 button cuff look. So I’m really on the fence

What are your thoughts? I believe I’ve seen you wearing both styles before.

    Thanks!

  • Boot Tip: If you remember nothing else: Be seasonally consistent when putting an outfit together. Do not wear boots and a skirt with bare legs; tights, nylons, or even flesh colored fishnet stockings help bridge the (thermal & fashion) gap between your knees and your hemline.

  • been a typo, Your blog looks good. Have a pleasant day.

This is my look, yet I would have gone with solid navy soxs, and I like to keep my coat buttoned up.

  • CAS says:

Ha! The bike.. taking a cue from the Sartorialist are we? Nice fit.. I would have gone sockless though; especially in this heat!

  • Persol Question! says:

love this look! love the Persol btw! They are 649s right? When you wear the tortoise brown shades – are the lenses gradient brown lenses or are they solid brown polarized glasses? Same for the black ones? Let me know homie – huge supporter of the blog!

great post! when exactly will your store open in september?

  • erni says:

    one word…SUPERB

    • Al says:

Who cares? This is about the outfit, not the bike. Why hate when he’s just doing his thing. Why waste your life going on someone else’s blog, finding a link to another page, and posting a dumb comment?

  • Sabir P. says:

Great look Dan. I do like how the camo pocket square mixes with the khaki. You have the Italian vibe going on with the bike and a suit. Very Sartorial. The accessories are a great addition even though they do standout once they are noticed they are still pretty subtle.

Pretty inspiring SB! I’m going to show my dad this- I’ve been selling him on a khaki suit all summer, maybe for next year…
